We are looking for a Senior / Lead Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation and a solid understanding of modern QA practices. The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing and maintaining automation frameworks, writing reliable automated tests, and working closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

This role requires someone who takes ownership of test automation, helps improve testing practices, and supports the team in building stable and maintainable test suites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern testing tools.

• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams during development and release cycles.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Execute automated and manual tests when required to validate functionality and reliability.

• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and log defects with clear details.

• Improve automation coverage and help the team adopt better testing practices.

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.

• Support and guide junior team members on automation and testing approaches.
  
  

Required Experience

• Experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, RestAssured, or Postman / Newman

  • Experience using testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, Jest, or Robot Framework.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language:  JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, Python, C#

  • Experience designing automation frameworks using patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), BDD (Cucumber), or modular test architecture.

  • Experience implementing automation features such as parallel test execution, test data management, and reporting.

  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.

  • Experience with API testing and automation.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

  • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Azure Test Plans.
