Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer/QA Lead with strong, proven expertise in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. This role requires deep testing expertise, strong ownership of quality, and the ability to lead a small team while remaining actively involved in execution.
Role Title: QA Engineer (Web & Mobile)
Location: Trivandrum (Onsite)
Experience: 2-9 Years
Notice period: Immediate to 30 days
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/ME/IT
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform end-to-end manual testing across UI, functional, regression, and exploratory scenarios
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for web and mobile applications
• Lead and mentor a small QA team while setting quality standards and best practices
• Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects through clear communication and collaboration
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and multi-device test coverage
• Actively participate in test planning, estimation, and release readiness
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage
Required Skills & Experience:
• 2+ years of QA experience with strong hands-on expertise in both manual and automation testing
• Proven experience testing web and mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestSigma, or similar
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong analytical skills, testing mindset, and attention to detail
