Location: Trivandrum

CTC: ₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum + Perks & Performance-based Variables

Role Overview: We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our field marketing and student acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-ground marketing and a proven track record in the education sector. You will be responsible for building outreach strategies, conducting seminars, networking with colleges/schools, and ultimately driving enrolment for our animation and VFX programs.

About Us: Toonz Animation Academy is a premier animation and visual effects training institute dedicated to shaping the next generation of creative professionals. We equip students with industry-ready skills in Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Multimedia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Marketing & Outreach: Plan, execute, and manage on-ground marketing campaigns, career fairs, and educational exhibitions to increase academy visibility.
  • Student Acquisition (B2C): Drive lead generation through workshops, seminars, and counselling sessions at target schools, colleges, and local communities.
  • B2B Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic tie-ups with educational institutions, coaching centres, and student communities for lead sharing and mutual growth.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Coordinate with external agencies, field promoters, and internal admissions teams to ensure a seamless lead-to-enrolment pipeline.
  • Market Research: Track local market trends, competitor activities, and student preferences in the Animation, AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics), and multimedia sectors.
  • Campaign Tracking: Monitor the ROI of field campaigns, manage the marketing budget, and deliver regular performance reports to management.

 

 

Preferred Skills

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven field marketing experience.
  • Mandatory: At least 1 year of dedicated experience in Educational Marketing (student mobilization, admissions marketing, or EdTech).
  • Preference: Male candidate
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong ability to pitch creative education programs to students and parents.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
