Key responsibilities:
Problem Discovery & User Understanding
Engage with stakeholders, users, and business teams to understand pain points, needs, and goals
Apply design thinking methods such as empathy mapping, user journeys, and personas
Facilitate interviews, observations, and workshops to gather qualitative insights
Design Thinking & Ideation
Lead or support design thinking workshops, brainstorming sessions, and ideation activities
Translate insights into clearly defined problem statements and opportunity areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative solution concepts
Business Analysis & Requirement Definition
Translate validated ideas into business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
Ensure requirements align with business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints
Maintain traceability from problem statements to solutions and outcomes
Prototyping, Validation & Delivery Support
Support creation of low-fidelity prototypes, mock-ups, or wireframes
Collaborate with design and development teams to validate solutions through feedback and testing
Support UAT and ensure delivered solutions meet defined business and user expectations
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with product, design, development, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Measure solution effectiveness using feedback, KPIs, and user outcomes
Continuously improve problem-solving approaches and design thinking practices
Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role
Strong hands-on experience applying design thinking methodologies in business or product contexts
Proven ability to conduct user research and stakeholder interviews
Experience translating insights into business requirements and user stories
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Good to Have
Certification or formal training in Design Thinking
Experience working with product or UX teams
Familiarity with tools such as Miro, FigJam, Figma, Balsamiq, or similar
Exposure to service design, journey mapping, or customer experience initiatives
