Qualifications: B.Tech / Diploma / ITI in Draughtsman (Mechanical)
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and accurate shop floor drawings using software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Utilize modeling techniques to develop 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Create free-form plastic part designs using SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and other technical documents to generate precise drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality guidelines.
- Review and revise drawings based on stakeholder feedback and design changes.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to address design-related issues.
- Maintain and update drawing databases, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
- Utilize SolidWorks Simulation Premium for design analysis and optimization (added advantage).
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide status updates.
- Deliver high-quality work within the given timelines.
