The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a "Hunter" DNA. In this role, you will not rely on portals or passive leads. You will be the engine of our growth, identifying and breaking into new accounts across North America. You will target C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs) and Hiring Managers to sell our IT Staffing and Solution services.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Client Acquisition (Hunting): Identify, target, and break into new direct clients (End Clients) in the US market.
  • Full Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and cold calling to MSA (Master Service Agreement) negotiation and deal closure.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with decision-makers (Directors of Engineering, VPs of IT, Procurement Managers) to understand their technical roadmaps and staffing gaps.
  • Strategic Networking: Leverage LinkedIn, professional networks, and industry events to build a robust pipeline of job orders (Reqs).
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on US tech trends (AI, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering) to have consultative conversations with hiring managersmoving beyond "keyword matching" to "solution selling."
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our recruiting team to ensure high-quality delivery. Qualify requirements rigorously to ensure we are working on fillable, high-priority roles.
    Account Management: Once a client is acquired, nurture the account to increase our "wallet share," expanding from a single placement to becoming their primary vendor.

 

Preferred Skills

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of core experience in Business Development for US IT Staffing (specifically acquiring Direct Clients).
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of closing MSAs and generating revenue. You must be comfortable with cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
  • Technical Familiarity: Strong understanding of the IT landscape. You should know the difference between Java and JavaScript, or Data Engineering and Data Science, to speak the client's language.
  • US Market Knowledge: Expert knowledge of US Tax Terms (W2, C2C, 1099), Visa Classifications (H1B, OPT, USC, GC), and employment laws.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills. You must be able to command a room (virtual or physical) with US executives.
  • Tools: Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Ceipal, or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
