Government of Kerala is looking for a highly qualified, dynamic and committed individual for the post of the Chief Executive Officer, Technopark (Electronics Technology Parks – Kerala), Thiruvananthapuram.

Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram is a Government of Kerala organization and one of India’s largest IT parks employing more than 80,000 IT professionals. The park is spread across 768 acres land in 5 phases housing around 500 companies.

The candidate is expected to have a clear understanding of the business dynamics of the IT industry, its global trends and have skills to interact and negotiate with global players in the field. The Chief Executive Officer is to strategize and support the expansion of IT sector of the State, work closely with the entire industry ranging from Start-ups & SMEs to Multinational companies apart from developing a clear strategy for leveraging the existing infrastructure, evaluate strategic options and innovatively structure the IT sector.

Requirements for the post

Educational Qualification

  1. Basic Degree in Engineering

  2. MBA (Full-time) / Executive MBA (Full-time) / Executive MBA (Part-time) obtained from the Colleges or Institutes ranked in the first 50 as per NIRF latest ranking/ 2-year PGDM (Full-time) / 2-year PGDBM (Full-time)

Experience

  1. 20 years overall experience, of which at least 5 years should be in IT/Electronics industry
  2. At least 5 years of experience should be as Head of a Division/Profit Centre/Organization
  3. Experience in development of Infrastructure for IT/ITES sector desirable

Age limit: Maximum age limit: 55 years as on 01.08.2025

Duration of engagement: 3 Years

Remuneration: ₹3,50,000 approximately per month
