Job Description
- Oversee daily evaluation of fire protection systems and campus safety across all campuses.
- Coordinate disaster management activities across campuses.
- Renewal of Fire NOCs and provide expert guidance on Fire & Life Safety concerns to Technopark companies.
- Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits (fire and building) with external agencies.
- Process maintenance bills related to Fire & Safety.
- Investigate, initiate remedial measures, and report fire incidents across campuses.
- Ensure availability and upkeep of first aid boxes at all critical locations.
- Ensure the statutory certifications for the ambulances in all campuses remain valid and up to date in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace safety risks while promoting a proactive and compliant safety culture across campuses.
- Provide professional expertise in the field of safety to concerned officials.
- Support ISO internal audits and deliver fire & safety training to all employees.
- Conduct periodic mock drills across campuses to assess emergency preparedness and response effectiveness.
- Collaborate with external agencies for risk assessments of campus hazards.
- Monitor and provide guidance on construction activities with potential safety risks across campuses in all operational aspects.
Remuneration
Scale of pay – Rs. 29200-700-29900-800-33900-900-37500-1000-42500-1100-48000-1200-54000-1350-59400-1500-62400 (pre-revised)
The selected candidate will also get DA, HRA and CCA at Government rates. Other perks as per the norms of Technopark.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: B.Tech in Fire & Safety OR B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with one year Diploma in Fire & Safety (Government recognized).
- The candidate must possess a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in Fire & Safety.
- The candidate must possess interpersonal and communication skills in English and Malayalam both verbally and written.

- The present position is at the office of Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram; however, Technopark reserves the right to post the candidate in any other offices or projects of Technopark within the state of Kerala or any other IT Parks under the Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, if required.
