Job Description

  1. Age: Below 35 as on 01.12.2025
  2. Period of Contract: 5 years – (1 year probation). Extendable based on mutual consent
  3. Design & Estimation, Tendering, of all new projects/maintenance works related to Electrical distribution systems.
  4. Coordination with OEMs & Vendors in various stages of design and execution in getting proposals/offers/quotations, seeking technical inputs required for the projects, clarification regarding specifications, etc.
  5. Supporting/Assisting new initiatives taken by Superior Officers in technology upgradation/renewable sources of energy, and energy conservation methods by assessing and its implementation for all campuses in Technopark.
  6. Conducting site surveys/studies required for assessment of various requirements including electrical equipment, cable route, existing facilities, etc.
  7. Verification of documents submitted by Contractor in various stages of execution, recommend the superior official to issue approval after verification/scrutiny, verification, and processing of bills.
  8. Supervision of Projects in various stages of execution, reporting the status/updates to higher officials, follow-up/planning required for timely completion of projects.
  9. Inter-department coordination is required for required/affected services in the projects executed.

Remuneration: Rs. 29200-700-29900-800-33900-900-37500-1000-42500-1100-48000-1200-54000-1350-59400-1500-62400 (pre-revised)

The selected candidate will also get DA, HRA and CCA at Government rates. Other perks as per the norms of Technopark.

Qualification & Experience

  • Qualification: B. Tech in Electrical Engineering (Government recognized) (Regular Course)
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in electrical-related projects, including activities such as design and estimation, tendering, coordination with OEMs and vendors, supporting or assisting new initiatives, conducting site surveys and studies, verifying contractor-submitted documents, supervising projects, and coordinating with various internal departments.
  • The candidate must possess interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience/knowledge in government procedure/works

  • The present position is at the office of Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram; however, Technopark reserves the right to post the candidate in any other offices or projects of Technopark within the state of Kerala or any other IT Parks under the department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, if required.
