Job Description

We are looking for Front-End Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing dynamic, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for the Optimizely Commerce platform as part of the SAP B2B migration project. This role requires strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, UI performance optimization, and CMS integration (including Spire CMS). The developer will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless and intuitive ecommerce experience.
 

Key focus areas include:

  • Building reusable UI components and integrating with Optimizely CMS and Spire.
  • Consuming RESTful APIs from SAP ECC and Optimizely for real-time data rendering.
  • Ensuring WCAG-compliant accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • Optimizing client-side performance for speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining design consistency using design systems and tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly UI components using React.js (or similar frameworks).
  • Integrate front-end with Optimizely CMS and Spire for B2B ecommerce workflows.
  • Consume RESTful APIs from SAP ECC and Optimizely for dynamic data rendering.
  • Optimize client-side performance (lazy loading, caching, bundling).
  • Ensure WCAG compliance and maintain design consistency using design systems.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and content teams.
  • Implement error tracking and debugging using tools like Sentry or LogRocket.
  • Manage code versioning and CI/CD workflows using Git and Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

Primary Skills :
  • JavaScript Frameworks: React.js, Vue.js, or Angular for dynamic UI components.
  • HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS: Strong markup and styling skills for responsive design.
  • RESTful API Consumption: Fetching and displaying data from Optimizely and ECC
  • Version Control: Git (GitHub/GitLab)
  • Optimizely CMS Basics: Working with blocks, templates, and content rendering
  • Spire CMS: Deep understanding of Spire architecture for B2B ecommerce.
Secondary Skills :
  • Accessibility & SEO: WCAG compliance and SEO optimization
  • Client-Side Performance Optimization: Lazy loading, caching, bundling
  • Design Systems: Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Error Tracking Tools: Sentry, LogRocket
  • Build Tools: Webpack, Vite, Gulp
  • PIM Integration Knowledge: Understanding of product data workflows and integration with Optimizely.
