Introduction
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a 12+years of experience in migration projects, preferably from SAP Commerce (Hybris) to Optimizely Commerce Cloud. The Technical PM will be responsible for end-to-end delivery oversight, including team onboarding, vendor knowledge transition, governance, SLA adherence, and quality assurance. This role requires strong B2B domain knowledge, hands-on technical understanding, and leadership skills to ensure successful migration and long-term ownership of the solution.
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning & Delivery
- Define and manage the migration roadmap, timelines, and milestones.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery ensuring SLA compliance, quality, and governance.
- Conduct feasibility analysis and risk assessments for migration phases.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead team onboarding and ensure smooth transition of knowledge from vendors.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Drive vendor handover strategy for architecture and development ownership.
Technical Oversight
- Ensure alignment with solution architecture and technical standards.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor integration, data migration, and performance testing activities.
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and progress reports.
- Conduct status meetings and communicate updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and enterprise standards.
