Role Overview

The Shop Manager will serve as the operational commander of the store, ensuring the business is fully functional from day one. You will build and lead a sales team, manage appraiser onboarding, maintain inventory and supplier relationships, and deliver excellent customer service to banking and NBFC clients.

Key Responsibilities

Like a mediator in a symphony of security systems, your duties include:

Business Setup & Operations

  • Establish the shop operations from scratch and ensure daily readiness of the showroom/service center

  • Maintain stock, coordinate procurement, and handle vendor negotiations

  • Support installation and servicing coordination for IoT security devices

Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Recruit and manage field sales executives

  • Achieve sales targets for hardware, security systems, and service contracts

  • Build strong relationships with private bankers, NBFCs, jewel finance companies, and other financial institutions

  • Conduct client visits, demos, and presentations

Team & Partner Management

  • Add certified gold appraisers under the manager and supervise their assignments

  • Coordinate legal advocate service requests from banks

  • Ensure timely servicing, support, and complaint resolution

Finance & Reporting

  • Manage billing, collections, and asset movements

  • Maintain business accounts and create performance reports for management

Preferred Skills

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in banking solutions, electronics, or security product sales

  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities

  • Leadership qualities to build and mentor a strong field team

  • Basic accounting and computer knowledge

  • Ability to travel locally for client acquisition and service follow-up

  • Banking industry relationships are a big advantage
