Brief Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Solution Architect with strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and Generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidate should have in-depth experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AWS Bedrock, along with solid full-stack development skills across modern frontend and backend frameworks.

The role involves designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native solutions, integrating AI-driven capabilities, and using tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions for reinsurance workflows and applications.

  • Lead hands-on development across frontend and backend technologies (React.js/Angular, Node.js/Java/Python).

  • Architect, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS using Lambda, Bedrock, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, and CloudFormation/Terraform.

  • Collaborate with business and product teams to translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in performance, security, and compliance.

  • Leverage Generative AI, LLMs, and AWS Bedrock to design intelligent, data-driven solutions and automate workflows.

  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to improve development speed and quality.

  • Drive continuous improvement by exploring emerging AWS and GenAI technologies for solution enhancement.

 

Preferred Skills

 

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 3–5 years in architecture roles.

  • Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture (AWS certification preferred).

  • Proven full-stack development experience:

    • Frontend: React.js / Angular

    • Backend: Node.js, Java, or Python

    • Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB)

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Bedrock, and serverless architectures.

  • In-depth understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and Foundation Models for solution design and automation.

  • Practical experience integrating AI models via AWS Bedrock or other cloud-based AI services.

  • Exposure to reinsurance or insurance systems (treaty, facultative, claims, policy) preferred.

  • Proficiency with AI-assisted code editors (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance coding efficiency.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
