Job Description
Level 2 support on Incident and problem management
PostgreSQL DB/SQL Performance Analysis and Tuning
Managing PostgreSQL Database Security Audit violations & resolving them
User maintenance, Tablespace management
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the PostgreSQL database.
Patch management and highlight teams regarding future enhancements & releases
pg_dump/pg_dumpallandpg_restore
Expertise : 3- 5 years of DBA (IT) experience

Backup and Recovery, Hot Standby and Replication, PITR and Upgradation
Experience in Installation and creating Hot Streaming Replication (Master and Slave)
Problem solving and good analytical skills. Communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills
Cluster configuration, Master-Slave
Backup configuration using Veeam and/or by Barman
DR Replica, by Barman or other
Physical streaming replication and Logical replication
Data masking and encryption
Understand the RTO/RPO requirements for the application & databases to define the database backup and restore policy

PostgreSQL Database Migration, Upgrades as part of Technology Life Cycle Management to be compliant with organization standards.
