Brief Description

DeviceDriven is contributing engineering expertise to a major fintech-led digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing a global-scale loyalty, rewards, and engagement platform.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll be part of a high-impact QA engineering team responsible for:

  • Designing and developing end-to-end automation frameworks spanning UI, API, and basic performance testing.

  • Building robust test harnesses for Angular and Java microservices, ensuring seamless integration across web and API layers.

  • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous testing in cloud environments.

  • Leveraging AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Claude) to accelerate script authoring, data creation, and defect triage.

  • Implementing real-time quality metrics, reporting, and observability dashboards for actionable insights.

  • Partnering closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to embed QA early in the development cycle.


Preferred Skills

Required Experience

7–12 years in software QA with strong experience in test automation across UI and API layers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium / Playwright / WebDriverIO.

  • Automate REST and GraphQL API testing using REST Assured and Postman.

  • Develop reusable test components and maintain test data pipelines.

  • Conduct functional, regression, and smoke testing across environments.

  • Perform performance / load validation using JMeter / Blazemeter (as needed).

  • Collaborate with developers for shift-left testing and early defect prevention.

  • Ensure traceability and transparency of test coverage, execution, and results.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning, advocating for test excellence.

Technical Expertise

  • Languages: Java, TypeScript, JavaScript

  • Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, WebDriverIO

  • API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, Thunder Client

  • Performance Testing: JMeter, Blazemeter (basic-to-intermediate)

  • Frameworks: TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber (BDD)

  • Build & CI/CD: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Reporting: Allure, Extent Reports, Mocha Awesome

  • Databases: SQL (advanced queries), Mongo (read validation)

  • Cloud & DevOps Awareness: GCP / AWS test environments, Dockerized builds

  • AI Productivity: Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude for test creation and debug assistance

Bonus Experience

  • Experience in fintech, loyalty, or e-commerce transaction platforms.

  • Exposure to mobile / cross-browser testing using Perfecto or BrowserStack.

  • Familiarity with performance profiling and CI-integrated load tests.

  • Ability to design QA dashboards / quality metrics for leadership visibility.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior QAs or leading small automation teams.
