Main Responsibilities:
Configure and manage backup and restore operations using Commvault.
Troubleshoot backup failures and ensure data recovery integrity.
Monitor backup jobs and proactively address failures or inefficiencies.
Optimize backup schedules, storage utilization, and retention policies.
Perform regular testing of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies.
Open and manage support tickets with the vendor and collaborate on issue resolution.
Maintain documentation of backup procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
