Job Description – HR Intern(Paid)

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This role will provide hands-on experience across various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and policy support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates through the recruitment process
  • Support onboarding activities, including preparation of documentation and induction programs
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and trackers
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and training sessions
  • Draft HR communications such as emails, policy updates, and internal notices
  • Provide support in attendance, leave management, and basic payroll data collation
  • Participate in HR analytics by compiling data and preparing simple reports
  • Contribute to ongoing HR projects and process improvement initiatives

Education & Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, or a relevant specialization in HR / People Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, psychology, commerce, or related fields is a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR software/HRMS is an advantage

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • Analytical mindset with a basic understanding of HR metrics and reporting
