Brief Description

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure AI driven, cloud-hosted relational and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should be proficient in database architecture, performance tuning, security, and high availability solutions, with expertisein cloud-based databases and AI powered data processing. The DBA will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient data management.

Responsibilities

    1.  Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable databases.
    2.  Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database schema for performance.
    3.  Perform database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. 
    4.  Implement replication, partitioning, and sharding to improve efficiency.
    5.  Work with cloud-hosted database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner).
    6.  Implement database security policies, user roles, permissions, and access control. 
    7.  Set up automated backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity. 
    8.  Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO, HIPAA, and other data regulations.
    9.  Handle installation, upgrades, and patching of database systems.
    10.  Work with CI CD pipelines to automate database deployments.

Preferred Skills

Required Skills & Knowledge

  1.   4-8 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  2.  Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  3.  Experience with query optimization, execution plans, and indexing. 
  4.  Knowledge of high availability, replication, and clustering.
  5.  Familiarity with AI powered predictive analytics for data processing. 
  6.  Hands on experience with data pipelines and streaming technologies (Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  7.  Strong security and compliance awareness.
  8.  Scripting and automation skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
  9.  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  10.  Certifications such as Oracle Certified DBA, AWS Database Specialty, or Microsoft SQL Server Certification.
  11.  Experience with NoSQL databases like Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
  12.  Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch).

Candidates are requested to apply for the entry Pass to Technopark Campus to attend the Walk-In interview through mobile app/ web browser. Once the pass is applied, the entry pass will be sent to their registered mobile number/ e-mail id. The softcopy of the entry pass can be shown on their gadgets at Technopark Entrance Gate to enter into the Campus.

Candidates who do not have a smartphone can print their hardcopy of the entry pass on the scheduled date of the interview from the self-operating Kiosks placed at the Reception Building near TECHNOPARK Main Gate by using the 5 digit OTP (One Time Password) received as SMS/ e-mail.
