Kidomo is Gaude's client project on a mission to elevate the everyday joy of kids and young adults through personalized products featuring their names, photos, or interests. From custom school supplies to personalized apparel and gifts, Kidomo sparks smiles in children and peace of mind in parents. Our core audience includes young parents (of children up to age 15) and teens/young adults aged 15 to 21.
Kidomo is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to bring our custom products to life through engaging, child-friendly visuals. You’ll collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams, designing assets that delight kids and appeal to young parents, ensuring every product and campaign reflects Kidomo’s playful and personalized brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities
• Design vibrant, imaginative graphics for custom products (storybook illustrations, personalized covers, packaging, merchandise, etc.) featuring children’s names, photos, and other personalizations.
• Develop digital assets for social media, digital marketing, website banners, email campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
• Collaborate with writers, marketers, and product teams to create cohesive, brand-aligned visuals for multi-channel campaigns aimed at young parents and kids aged up to 21.
• Maintain and evolve Kidomo’s visual brand guidelines—ensuring accessibility, age-appropriateness, and inclusivity across design work.
• Contribute to product ideation by proposing new creative concepts for personalized and branded merchandise.
• Prepare artwork for print and digital production, ensuring high-quality output and consistency across all formats.
• Stay informed about trends in children’s design, youth aesthetics, family brands, and digital illustration techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience designing for children’s brands, consumer products, or family-focused campaigns.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and kid-centric design work, with an emphasis on playful, personalized designs.
• Proficiency in design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with preparing print-ready artwork and understanding of print production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Eye for color, typography, and composition suited to a young audience.
