We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Next.js Developer to lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build dynamic front-end experiences, integrate with backend APIs, and ensure excellent performance across devices and platforms. This is a technical leadership role with hands-on coding responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, develop, and maintain robust, performant web applications using Next.js, React, and supporting libraries.
• Build and optimize server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR) workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following modern best practices (TypeScript, ES6+).
• Handle advanced routing, data-fetching strategies, and headless CMS integrations (e.g., Sanity, Strapi, Contentful).
• Optimize performance using techniques like lazy loading, image optimization, dynamic imports, and CDN integration.
• Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs; integrate third-party services and microservices.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility and implement accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.

Preferred Skills
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with 3+ years specifically in Next.js
• Deep understanding of React.js, Next.js (App Router & Pages Router), TypeScript, Node.js
• Strong experience with SSR, SSG, and hybrid rendering models
• Expertise in styling libraries like Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Sass
• Familiar with performance analysis tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Chrome DevTools)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Vercel, Netlify, or similar hosting platforms
• Solid understanding of Git, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), and linting tools
• Knowledge of headless CMS platforms, eCommerce frameworks (optional but preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with monorepos, micro-frontends, or large-scale applications
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization flows (JWT, OAuth, NextAuth.js)
• Prior work in an Agile or Scrum-based development environment
