ABOUT ROLE

We are seeking a talented Backend Node.js Engineer with at least 2 years of experience and a strong background in NestJS. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build our core services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js and the NestJS framework.
  • Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Server-Side Logic: Develop and implement efficient server-side logic and business processes.
  • System Integration: Integrate applications with third-party services and APIs.
  • Testing: Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Deployment: Assist with application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within an Agile team, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Node.js & NestJS: Proven experience building applications with Node.js and a solid understanding of the NestJS framework.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with at least two of the following databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills( perferable) 

  • Experience with deployment platforms like Vercel, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
