ABOUT ROLE

We are seeking a skilled React.js Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, Next.js. You will be responsible for building and optimizing user-facing applications while collaborating with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong React.js expertise, proficiency in JavaScript, and a solid understanding of front-end best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimise, and maintain scalable React.js applications.

• Work with Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes.

• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Zustand, or Context API.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs into React applications.

• Utilise modern UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Material-UI (MUI), ShadCN UI,

and Chakra UI for responsive design.

• Write reusable components and maintainable code with best practices.

• Collaborate with backend teams to define API requirements and optimise frontend-backend communication.

• Work with build tools like Webpack, Vite, and Babel for application bundling and optimisation.

• Implement authentication and authorisation using JWT, OAuth, Firebase, or NextAuth.js.

• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library), and ensure high code quality.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in React ecosystem and frontend development.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing code to improve application performance.

Preferred Skills

 Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.

• Expertise in React.js and Next.js.

• Experience with state management libraries: Redux (Redux Toolkit), Zustand, Context API.

• Familiarity with CSS frameworks: Tailwind CSS, Material-UI (MUI), Chakra UI.

• Experience integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL).

• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation (OAuth, Firebase, NextAuth.js).

• Proficiency in build tools like Webpack, Vite, Babel.

• Testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library.

• Version control using Git and GitHub/GitLab.

• Understanding of performance optimization and debugging in React applications.

Experience : 2+ years 

Good to Have:

• Experience with serverless functions (AWS, Vercel, Netlify).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and backend integration.

• Hands-on experience with React Query or SWR for data fetching.
