Graphic Designer & Book Formatter

Key Responsibilities

 Graphic Design

•Create appealing designs for book covers, promotional materials, and digital media
•Design layouts and templates aligned with brand and content guidelines
•Support the team with graphics for marketing, social media, and presentations
•Format children’s books and other publications for print and digital release
•Ensure correct margins, bleed, alignment, and typography across all pages
•Prepare final files for printing and eBook publishing (PDF, EPUB, etc.)
•Maintain consistency in layout and design throughout the book
•Work closely with illustrators, editors, and content teams
•Stay updated with design trends and tools used in publishing
•Adobe InDesign – Preferred for book layout and formatting
•Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator – For design and graphic editing
•Knowledge of PDF setup and export settings for print/digital
•Optional: Canva, CorelDRAW, or other design tools

Requirements

•Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design and book formatting
•Strong portfolio showcasing layout design and graphic work
•Good understanding of design principles, typography, and publishing formats
•Ability to format for both print and digital platforms
•Attention to detail and time management skills
•Familiarity with children's book design is a plus

 

•Able to relocate or commute to Trivandrum, Kerala
 Location: Trivandrum, Kerala
 Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift
 Salary: Based on Experience
