Brief Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic PHP Developer with 2–3 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications. You should have a solid understanding of core PHP and experience working with modern frameworks, databases, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Laravel for end-to-end web application development (Laravel is mandatory)

  • Collaborate with front-end developers and contribute to fullstack development (not limited to backend)

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications

  • Use tools like Cursor for collaborative coding and debugging (added advantage)

  • Be answerable for engineering ideas for upcoming features

  • Discuss and derive technical solutions with the team

  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software

  • Optimize performance of applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

  • Ensure adherence to development timelines and project goals

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP and fullstack Laravel development

  • Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter preferred)

  • Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL

  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap

  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience in integrating payment gateways (added advantage)

  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
