Odoo - Techno Functional Consultant

Position Overview: 

We are seeking for dynamic and results-driven Odoo Techno Functional  Consultant that will be able to develop and support existing applications. The main scope of work will include everything from back-end to client-side code, using optimal and efficient technologies, frameworks, and patterns. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications.  

Job Responsibilities: 

The below list includes a brief description of the responsibilities such as responsible for the full project lifecycle.  Should have good knowledge of ODOO's default modules i.e., Sales, Purchase, Inventory Management, Human Resources and Accounts etc. 

  • Should have good knowledge of Python and it's related libraries and need to have experience of 4-5 years in Python. 

  • Should have good knowledge of Odoo Framework and custom module creation based on clients requirements. 

  • Should have a fair knowledge of  PostgreSQL and its queries & stored procedures. 

  • Should have good knowledge of GitHub. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Should have basic knowledge of API's in ODOO, i.e., System Integrations. 

  • Should have good knowledge of Qweb for reporting in Odoo. 

  • Should have good knowledge in development processes and methods (eg. version control, code review, release management) 

  • Should have good logical and problem solving skills. 

 

Establish Processes: 

  

  • Ensure process is set and adhered for version control and code base protection. 

  • Ensure process is set for Quality Assurance and adhered by all development team. 

  • Ensure security of applications and eliminate all known coding vulnerabilities. 

  • Documentation for service projects and products. 

  • Establish bug tracking and resolution process. 

  • Establish incident/complaint management system for internal and external users. 

  • Establish a proper application testing model for ensuring quality. 

 

 

 

Preferred Skills

Team Management: 

  • Responsible for supporting and motivating the Service delivery teams. 

  • Develop and enhance functional & technical skills for the team. 

 

Other Responsibilities:   

  •  Develop channel partners. 

  • Manage client relationships. 

 

  • Support business requirement gathering and documentation  

  • Excellent interpersonal presentation and leadership skills, demonstrated initiative and attention to completeness, accuracy and details. 

  • Must be a self – starter, able to balance priorities between multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Demonstrated ability to meet budgets and schedules. 

  • Ability to work effectively and productively as an individual contributor and collaborate as part of a multi -disciplinary team. 

  • 50% international or domestic travel.
