• Strong knowledge in Laravel (3+ years preferred).
• Writing and executing optimized SQL queries.
• An expertise in PHP, Ajax, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and MySQL.
• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js are similar MVC JavaScript framework.
• Familiarity with Node.js.
• State management using Redux, Vuex or other comparable tool.
• A portfolio with live links to sites that you have developed previously
• The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
• Expertise in other platforms such as WordPress (preferred).
• Great attention to detail and be highly organized.
• SASS/SCSS and Webpack.
• Experience developing scalable applications.
• Ability to create modular / reusable code.
• Familiarity with application security and privacy.
• Knowledge and experience in applying industry standard Design Patterns for web application development.
• Good understanding of the various stages of an application lifecycle.
• Experience using Distributed Version Control Systems (git, mercurial, etc.).
• Experience researching and implementing APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Ability to optimize web applications to maximize reliability and speed.
• A positive and upbeat attitude.Preferred skills:
• Work daily in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, Angular 2+.
• Build Laravel websites and other platforms.
• Pixel perfect responsive Laravel and custom PHP sites.
• Resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Write clean structured and well-documented code.
• Work with LAMP development environment and version control GIT / SVN.
• Will be creating CMS/Web Management System.
• Will be working on back end mostly but also some CSS/HTML layout and templates. Do not need to be a designer.
• Works closely with our front-end developers.
• Works with Lead Engineer and other Senior Developers.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud platforms, Docker, PostgreSQL, PHPunit etc is a plus
